Day 1              Arrival in Entebbe. Transfer to the hotel. Protea Hotel by Marriott Entebbe or similar.

Day 2              Early departure to Western Uganda with a stop at the Equator Monument in Kayabwe, crossing Katonga River, and brief stops in Masaka and Mbarara. Arrival in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, UNESCO world heritage site. Rushaga Gorilla Lodge or similar.

Day 3              Early morning gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Queen Elizabeth Lodge or similar.

Day 4              Morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, views of Lake George and Lake Katwe. Arrival in Kasese, the regional center of Western Uganda. Fringes of Rwenzori National Park (UNESCO world heritage site) above Kasese. Rwenzori International Hotel or similar.

Day 5              Kasese - Tooro Botanical Gardens in Fort Portal - Salt producing village of Kibiro at Lake Albert (UNESCO tentative) - Bugungu Wildlife Reserve. Nile Safari Lodge or similar at Victoria Nile River.

Day 6              Bugungu - Murchison Falls - Jinga. In Jinga: Central Market, Mahatma Gandhi statue, boat trip to the source of the Nile River and Victoria Lake. Nile Village Hotel and Spa or similar.                

Day 7              Jinga - Kampala. In Kampala: Tombs of Buganda Kings at Kasubi (UNESCO world heritage site), Independence Monument, Uganda National Mosque, Kabaka Palace, Uganda Museum, Saint Paul's Cathedral Namirembe. Transfer to the airport for the late evening flight.
